Valley View Lodge located in Townsend, Tennessee is nestled peacefully along the border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Situated on fifteen lush acres in the shadows of the Smoky Mountains, our magnificent grounds invite strolling and quiet exploration. Formal gardens line walkways that meander from here to there, and ultimately to the Gazebo.

Surrounded by mountains, forests of pine and hardwoods, only the chatter of squirrels or the trill of songbirds to interrupt the solitude, Valley View is a natural gift to yourself.

The beauty of the grounds, the relaxation to be found in our two outdoor pools, and indoor pool with Jacuzzis and waterfalls create the feeling of a romantic oasis, a variety of rooms and suites to choose from are just a sampling of the luxurious amenities furnished by Valley View Lodge.

Youngsters will enjoy our quarter-acre, professionally designed Play Village with a super-sized tic tack toe board, four forts, big stationary cars, swing bridges, spiral and corkscrew slides and more.

A walking and jogging trail runs the length of Townsend, from one end to the other, while trout fishing is a reason in itself to come to the Smoky Mountains. There’s hiking and horseback riding, and the sparkling Little River has a serene call to come swimming, tubing and canoeing.
